 The MYX Music Awards 2008 was a blast and if you weren’t there, our post-event feature is sure to make you feel as if you were. The April-May issue of MYX Mag has it all, from the red carpet, to the awards ceremony, backstage pictures and after party antics! And that includes pictures of your favorite bands like Chicosci, Callalily and Favorite Music Video Awardee Sponge Cola! That’s nine pages of the MMAs! And to honor this year’s MYX Magna Awardee, Gary Valenciano, the MYX Mag staff think it is but fitting to put him in this issue’s cover. Know more about his 25 years in music with our cover story, and as a bonus, we even included his two sons, Paolo, the vocalist of the band Salamin, and Gab, that familiar dancer we see every Sunday at ASAP. Apl.de.ap, who presented the Favorite Music Video Award with Gary V and was also an awardee that night, also graces the pages of this issue. The MYX Mag staff was able to sit down with Apl himself and interviewed him about his upcoming album, where he plans to collaborate with local artists. Our Star MYX section features Rachel Sarmiento, a Cebuana, who came to Manila from Cebu the same day of the awards just so she can join in on the festivities. Read on as she gets close to artists and celebrities like Sponge Cola, Silent Sanctuary, Arnel Pineda and even Apl himself! As for our Fashion Feature, we’ve gathered just for you the most promising musicians out there and put them in one Summer Special. Get to see Lala, Jayson Fernandez of Rivermaya, Miguel Escueta, Uela Basco of Chillitees, Gian Magdangal and Kat Agarrado of Sinosikat? sport summer trends that you can try out yourself before school starts! hi guys... i really like this month's issue of MYX MAG kc may poster ng The Click Five, i like their kind of music, sana magkaroon ako ng mas malaking poster (heheh),and sa Chords and Lyrics section, ang gaganda ng mga piniling songs na ilagay don, especially po ug Lyrics ng Songs ng The Click Five, saka ung saka dun sa PoP MYX, andun ung mga fave kong songs,, heheh,, by the way sana sa next issue may article about Jay ar Siaboc, fave kc xa ng GF ko, fave ko na rin kc gusto nya eh, saka kc nakakatuwa xa sa Kapitan Boom (^^), un lang po maraming salamt, God Bless, Keep up the good work, Long Live MYX MAG!!!
