The judges' scores have been computed and the viewers' have texted-in their votes. After a baptism of fire that tested their mettle – weeks of brain wracking tasks, tongue-twisting challenges, body winding activities on and off cam proved to be difficult as well as pleasurable and well worth it for the newest batch of 2008 MYX VJs namely : Robi Domingo, Monica Yncierto, Chino Liu-Pio and Bianca Roque.

The much anticipated MYX VJ Search 2008 Finals Night came to a close with a big bang last October 21, Tuesday at the Trinoma Mall Activity Center where families and fans were treated to a hip and electrifying event with performances by crowd favorite bands: Hale, Sandwich, MYMP, Sugarfree, Hilera plus Nyoy Volante and Kyla that sent the mallers on their feet and into a party mode.

Added to the grand announcement is the unveiling of the second anniversary issue of Myx Mag, the biggest-selling music magazine in the country. As a way of thanking its loyal readers and supporters, Myx Mag’s October – November issue is a very special offering as it is all about one of the greatest Pinoy bands of all time – the well loved Eraserheads.

Everyone at Trinoma had a blast as the resident Myx VJs Luis, Iya, Nikki and Drei welcomed, shared the stage and bonded with their newest buddies in the channel. The winners landed a one-year contract performing the coolest job on local music television! Bond with the hottest new kids on the block on Myx channel.

Tonight's the night!

The MYX VJ Search will culminate on October 21, 8 pm at the Activity Center of the Trinoma Ayala Mall, where the new crop of Myx VJs will be announced. The event will be headlined by the MYX VJ Search 2008 finalists and performances by top local bands. The event is made even grander as it coincides with the third anniversary of MYX Magazine, the biggest-selling music magazine in the country. If you can't make it to the live show, you can catch it on MYX Presents: The MYX VJ Search 2008 finals night on October 23, Thursday, at 9 pm.
